The timeline takes us back to ancient times, revealing the mysterious eras of Babylon, Egypt, Rome, and Greece, where wax figures already existed.
People of that time would mix wax with other materials to create facial replicas of the deceased, believing that these wax masks held divine power and allowed the departed to communicate with their ancestors.
However, these masks were a privilege reserved for the nobility, and once created, they could only be displayed on special and significant occasions. Typically, noble families would store them away.
