With a fortune of $153 billion, he has been the world's richest man for many years.

Bill Gates is no stranger to the world, he is the founder of Microsoft, was the top richest person on the Forbes list of America's richest people for 22 consecutive years, the top richest person on the Forbes list of the world's richest people for 13 consecutive years and held the title of the second richest person in the world for a very long time until November 2020, when he was replaced by Elon Musk.

According to the latest data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Bill Gates has a net worth of about $153 billion, making him one of the few people who can be counted among the hundreds of billions of dollars of billionaires.

Bill Gates has said that one day he will donate the majority of his wealth to his charitable foundation. Gates is also regularly recognized by the Chronicle of Philanthropy as one of America's most generous philanthropists.

On June 27, 2008, Bill Gates, one of the founders of Microsoft, officially announced that he was stepping down as CEO of Microsoft, and would donate all of his personal property to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation under his name, leaving a legacy of $10 million to each of his three children.

Rich Dad's "Stingy" Education

Over the years, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gates have carefully nurtured three talented children, their eldest daughter Jennifer, born in 1996, their second son Rory, born in 1999, and their youngest daughter Phoebe, born in 2002.

His eldest daughter, Jennifer, has demonstrated exceptional academic ability since childhood, eventually graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology, and is now on her way to becoming a physician. In addition to her academic accomplishments, she has a passion for equestrianism, and as a professional equestrian athlete in the United States, she has won numerous awards in competition. The youngest daughter, Phoebe, on the other hand, has chosen the arts and is an accomplished ballerina, interpreting the beauty of life through dance.

As the world's richest man, we would think that Bill Gates should invest all the money in the children, but he has always believed that relying solely on the pile of money is not enough to raise three fully outstanding children, he insisted on "stingy" education.

"Skimp" on food and clothing and spend money to invest in hobbies and abilities

Judging by the children's daily wear, it's the usual brands of clothing. But when it comes to electronics use, tech titan Bill Gates has a strict attitude towards his children. He strictly limits his children's screen time, insisting that they can't use cell phones until they're 14 years old.

Oldest daughter Jennifer has shown a love for equestrianism since she was 6 years old, and Bill Gates has fully supported her in this interest, even going so far as to purchase property in Wellington, Florida - a mecca for equestrian enthusiasts - at a cost of $37 million dollars, right next to the estate of Laurene Powell Jobs.

You can see that Bill Gates values helping children discover and recognize their abilities and strengths more than simply leaving behind material possessions. He encourages his children to be the helmsmen of their own lives, to move independently through the stormy seas of life and to become the best version of themselves. This is the kind of education that parents should give.

"Skimping" on money fosters independence

Bill Gates has shared about his children's education, "We want a balance of giving them the freedom to do a lot of things, not giving them a lot of money and letting them go out and do nothing."

Bill Gates understands the true meaning of education and teaches his children from an early age that "labor creates value". His children understand that pocket money does not come easily, and that it needs to be "earned" through chores such as washing dishes, sweeping and mopping the floor. The aim of this approach is to foster independence, so that the children can learn to be self-sufficient and take care of themselves wherever they are.

Bill Gates understands that parents can't always cover their children's backs, and that independence is one of the essential basic skills that children need to have as they journey through life. By doing so, his children will grow up learning to take responsibility and be prepared for the challenges ahead.

Give his kids unstinting companionship

Bill Gates himself is a book lover, not only love to read, but also bring the habit of reading to his children, accompanying them to read. Therefore, unlike other rich children, the eldest daughter Jennifer sunshine most is her own book list.

In addition to his reading companionship, Bill Gates also stands out in the way he takes care of his children. Instead of relying on a house sitter to take care of his children, he is personally involved.

He takes his children to school himself, spends the evenings with them reviewing their homework, and even attends the school's parent-teacher conferences, where he meets the teachers face-to-face. On weekends, he spends time with his children, exploring science experiments or teaching them driving skills, enjoying the closeness between parent and child.

He's the richest man in the world, but he's stingy with his money.

He supports quality education for his children.

That includes not only academic knowledge

It's about understanding and exploring the world.
