A PhD person getting involved with comedy? That's where the legendary life of Rowan Atkinson comes in.

Because stupid and stutter, childhood is spent in being ridiculed.

Born into a middle-class family on January 6, 1955, Rowan Atkinson, the son of an electrical engineer father and an actress mother, was raised on a 400-acre farm. Despite a comfortable upbringing, Rowan's father soon realized his son was different from other children, noticing his occasional foolishness and stutter. These conditions often led to mockery at school, but Rowan fought back with his ability to make funny faces, turning the tables on his tormentors with laughter.

During his challenging childhood, Rowan's love for performance was nurtured by his mother. Under her guidance and encouragement, he developed a resilient, tenacious character. Facing ridicule, Bean learned to smile back, disregarding others' opinions and immersing himself in his passion for performance and diligent study.

Fate and coincidence brought together for a formal comedy ending

Rowan's academic achievements shone brightly, allowing him to attend Newcastle University, where he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering – influenced by his father and brother. Later, he continued his education at Oxford University, studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. At Oxford, Rowan met his friend, Beak, who discovered his exceptional comedic talent and invited him to join a drama club.

"Rowan, you don't talk much, and life seems dull; that's why you should join the club and make your life more exciting," Beak's sincere words convinced Rowan to join. Initially, Rowan watched from the sidelines, but courageously, he stepped onto the stage to recreate his childhood coping mechanism. His performance, filled with funny and clever antics, brought laughter and applause, earning him praise for his acting skills.

After joining the drama club, the members unanimously agreed to give Rowan the opportunity to perform at the Edinburgh Arts Festival. That day, Rowan's rich body language and comedic expressions delivered an extraordinary performance, earning thunderous applause from the audience.
